Koh Samui Travel Guide

Koh Samui is apparently one of the best islands of Thailand. It has gorgeous beaches with fine white sand and a truly carefree look and feel to the whole island. It is perfect for your relaxing vacations and days spent lazing around in the sun, surf and sand. Samui is almost completely an island devoted to tourists and attractions for their benefits. It is one of the most striking pieces of land and sea that exist on Thailand and has carefully been exploited as such by the tourist trade.

The island offers a variety of water sports that are infinitely attractive to the visitors and even those foreigners who own land upon Samui. The activities include scuba diving, deep-water diving, boating and sailing, going for trips to the nautical parks, parties on the nearby yachts, not to mention spas and such institutions dedicated to pampering and comfort. The hotels and resorts have been built almost exclusively for the tourists and are vastly comfortable. The cuisine is prepared to suit all tastes and palates and the nightlife is spectacular. Of course, the beach life is the best part of Samui but there are many other attractions for those who prefer something different. The local land of Samui is studded with many hills which make for a very beautiful landscape.

There are many islands nearby perfect for your personalized parties, romantic dinners, or solitary refuges. Samui is completely dedicated to being an island of pampering and relaxation. It gives a whole new meaning to the word 'luxury'. Most of the island has been developed specifically with tourists in mind and are therefore flourishing with visitors and business. A lot of tourists, enchanted with the dream like world end up buying property on the island. The restaurants are famous for their sumptuous cuisine and so are the resorts and spas for their attention to detail and hospitality. Very little of the island has retained its original Asian flavor but is works with the purpose in mind. It draws in a lot of visitors which really helps the island's economic problems.

For those who look for something a bit exotic and different, there are magnificent waterfalls and fantastic rock gardens which make you instantly fall in love with the place. Samui has a lot to offer the average tourist and is rightfully so one of the most popular retreats for relaxation, luxury and pleasure.
