Khao Lak Travel Guide

Khao Lak was also one of the regions that were struck by the devastating flood of tsunami but has now flourished into the fastest growing regions in Thailand. It is a renowned resort for scuba diving trips to Similian islands which is located in the Phang Nga province of Thailand. It is a tropical wet climate as most regions of Thailand but the best time to visit is from November to end of February.

If you are interested in exploring the country and getting a better out doors you should definitely pay a visit to Khao Lak National Park. It offers the most authentic flavor of the native tropical jungle and undeveloped beaches that feel like you have just discovered them for the first time. And there is no place good to sweat yourself on a trekking trip on the Graphite and Limestone Mountains.

If your curious nature than you must be interested in going to dive for a look at the Boonsong Wreck which can take a nice excursion of a day to be spent of looking underwater at a wrecked boat that sunk in water in 1980s in a storm.

If you are tired of seeing the wide spread beach crowded with people and you want a nice private water place just for yourselves then you must go to the Lamru's Waterfall which has a 5 medium height levels falling in a pool with beautiful birds chirping about you and it is a very soothing spiritual place to have a comforting time.

Stay at

There are many comfortable and up to the standard places for you check in while taking a trip to Khao Lak. The best are with the view opening to the sea that whenever you open the blinds in the morning you get to see the beautiful shinning sun and the sparkling waves of the ocean to make your day as sparkling and bright as they are. Bang Krating Khao Lak resort is a recommended hotel to stay at.

Nightlife

The nightlife in Khao Lak is not as high as other regions in Thailand so if you are looking for party that is certainly not a good place but yes there are a few bars to cut down your thirst to let you feel that there is a lot more to life than being drunk and sleeping late in the mornings. The restaurants and shops are open till late and almost daily so that's a catch for you not to miss.
